High Demand Financial Style Reports

Two high demand financial style reports are included with standard deployments of Reserves. Be cautious when running these reports — these reports can cause significant strain on your web server and can reduce the overall performance of the application if they are run with too much data.

As a general rule of thumb, when running a high demand report, use the following guidelines when configuring your report's options:
  • Time Span: When the Yearly Period Type option is selected, run the report within a suggested maximum time span of one to three years. When the Monthly Period Type option is selected, run the report within a suggested maximum time span of one year.
  • Data Columns: We recommend running this report with no more than 7 variables (data columns) selected.
  • Subtotaling: We recommend running this report with the Attributes Subtotaling option enabled.
  • Hierarchy: We recommend running this report with a maximum of 30 data objects selected.
High demand financial style reports share identical report options with the rest of the financial style reports. For more information on these report options, see Financial Style Reports.
