Document Property Definitions

The Document Property Definitions option allows you to manage properties for Calculation Parameters, Price Files, projects and Regimes. Properties defined here are displayed in the Attributes Window when a document is selected in the Explorer Window. They provide additional information from a high-level perspective.

First, select the Document Type from the drop-down list. The list of current properties will be displayed. You can add, rename and remove properties by clicking on the corresponding buttons. The maximum length of a property name is 50 characters. Names must begin with an alphabetical or numerical character and cannot contain = \ ; : * <> / @ ? | “ +.

The Required field determines if a property is mandatory or not. Check this box if the property must be specified.

The Dictionary field contains a list of system dictionaries, such as Analysts or Region. If you select a dictionary, a drop-down list with the dictionary items will be displayed when this field is edited, for example, in the Attributes Window. The dictionaries are set up in the Property Dictionaries section of Global Options.

Use the arrow buttons to change the order of the properties.
