Escalate Prices

You can escalate a price by indicating an Escalation percentage (annual) in a price deck or on an entity.

Price escalation only applies to manually entered prices (overrides) and begins one year after the overridden value.

To escalate prices on an entity

1. On Economics | Prices & Costs | Prices, click Expand Details to display the Results columns and the Escalation % (annual) row.
2. In a product’s Result column, enter the Escalation % (annual).
3. In the year the escalation is to begin, enter the new price and press Enter.

The edited cell is displayed with a grey background to indicate a manual override of the stream price. The escalation of the price begins one year after the manual override.
