Using Reserves's Variance Reports, you will be able to compare variable values in different versions of your data.
Variance Reports Options
Anchor Version
Use this option to choose the version against which you wish to compare your current version's (selected in the Hierarchy/Version Selection pane) data.
Variance Mode
Two options are available.
- Absolute: Displays the variance value as a value (e.g. 250$).
- Percent: Displays the variance value as a percentage (e.g. 0.025).
Non Hierarchy Match Table
If objects exist in previous data versions (versions created for earlier time periods), but do not exist in the one you are using for your report, you can include these objects in your completed report using the Non Hierarchy Match Table report option. You will be able to select to values for this option:
- Yes: Will search for objects that only exist in previous versions and add them to your report's data.
- No: Will only include objects that exist in your current version (visible in the hierarchy you select to initialize your report) in your completed report.
