Terms presets
The Terms tab is used for configuring Terms variable values at the regime level. Multiple Terms configurations can be set up by using Terms presets. The base configuration is called 'Default', and each preset can be independently edited to override the 'Default' settings.
Presets are specific to each regime. When users are editing Terms in a hierarchy all of the regime's defined Terms presets will be available for selection in addition to the 'Default' (see Terms).
Add a new preset
To add a new preset, click the Add button
in the Regime Terms tab on the ribbon.
In the dialog that opens, enter a name for the preset and click OK.
The preset will then appear in a new sub-tab inside the module's Terms tab.
Copy a preset
A new preset is created with exactly the same configuration as the 'Default' Terms.
Alternatively, you can copy an existing preset into a new preset.
Select the sub-tab for the existing preset and then click the Copy button in the Regime Terms tab on the ribbon.
The new preset is named like the existing preset with '(1)' added (or '(2)', etc., as required).
Editing a preset
Select modules as required using the list on the left. For each Terms variable there is an Overridden check box. Check this box and then the variable can be given a different value from the 'Default' settings, and/or be set as Flexible or not.
If Overridden is un-checked then the 'Default' setting will be re-applied.
Delete or rename a preset
To rename a preset, select the preset's sub-tab and then click the Rename button in the Regime Terms tab on the ribbon.
To delete a preset, select the preset's sub-tab and then click the Delete button on the ribbon.
