Document Prices
One price deck is assigned to a version to provide price data for its documents. (See Version Manager.)
The mapping of prices to price streams for documents is managed using the Documents interface. The mapping works by inheritance down the hierarchy. The price mapping settings at the top of the hierarchy (the 'Organization' document) is inherited by all documents in the hierarchy. Then, each document has it own price settings which can be used to apply new mappings or to override the inherited setting: these price settings are then inherited by all documents in the hierarchy branch of the edited document.
The Prices dialog for a document can be opened by hovering the mouse over the document, then selecting Prices in the context menu.
For each stream that has a blank setting you can set a price by using the dropdown selector. This setting will be inherited by all documents in the hierarchy that are below the current document.
Inherited settings appear in italics in the 'Price' column. You can override these settings by ticking the Override check box. Then the selector will be activated to select a different price. Settings that have been overridden are displayed in bold face.
