Price Management tab

The table below explains the buttons in the Price Management tab on the ribbon.

Button Function
Save button Save: Saves the selected price deck if changes have been made. If you click on the arrow under this button, you will find the Save All option which saves all changed price decks. When you save a price deck, you will be prompted to enter a comment explaining the changes, which will be stored in the revision history.
Add Price Deck button

Add Price Deck: Adds a new price deck. For detailed instructions, see Create a new price deck.

Folders can be inserted to organize price decks using the Add button: click the arrow below the button and select Folder.
Open Price Deck button Open Price Deck: Opens the selected price deck.
Rename Price Deck button Rename Price Deck: Renames the selected price deck.
Delete Folder button Delete Folder: Delete the selected folder. The folder must be empty (otherwise the button will not activate).
Paste button Paste: When a folder is selected and a Cut or Copy action has already been applied to a price deck, inserts into the folder a cut or copied price deck.
Cut button Cut: Cuts the selected price deck.
Copy button Copy: Makes a copy of the selected price deck.
Export Price Deck button

Export to a file: Exports one or more price decks to a '.XEFP' file; see Export or Import price decks.

Export to Excel (Click the arrow below the ribbon button to access): Export the selected deck to an Excel 'XSLX' file; see Excel export and import for Price Decks.
Import Price Deck button

Import from a file: Imports one or more price decks from an '.XEFP' file; see Export or Import price decks.

Import from Excel (Click the arrow below the ribbon button to access): Import price deck content from an Excel 'XSLX' file; see Excel export and import for Price Decks.
Permissions button Opens the Permissions dialog for the selected price deck or folder. See Permissions for price decks and price groups.

Price Deck Home tab

The table below explains the buttons in the Price Deck Home tab in the Price Tools section on the ribbon.

Button Function
Save button Save: Saves the selected price deck if changes have been made. When you save, you will be prompted to enter a comment explaining the changes, which will be stored in the revision history.
Revisions drop-down Revision: Select the revision to display for the price deck. Only 'Latest' can be edited; others are displayed read-only.
Price History button History: Opens the History window where you can view the revision history of changes made to the price deck (see View history of price deck changes).
Add Price button Add Price: Adds a new price to the selected price group on the Settings tab.
Delete Price button Delete Price: Deletes the selected price.
Add Price Scenario button Add Price Scenario: Add a new price scenario.
Delete Price Scenario button Delete Price Scenario: Deletes the price scenario currently open.
Rename Price Scenario button Rename Price Scenario: Rename the currently-open price scenario.
Copy Price Scenario button Copy Price Scenario: Copies the currently-open price scenario into a new scenario.
Add Price Group button Add Group: Add a new price group. The new group can be found on the Settings tab of the Price Deck. For more information, see Create a new price deck.
Rename Price Group button Rename Group: Rename the selected price group.
Delete Price Group button Delete Group: Deletes the selected price group from the Price Deck.
Group Permissions button Group Permissions: Opens the permissions dialog for the selected price group. See Permissions for price decks and price groups.
Add Columns button Add Columns: Add intermediate columns in the selected price group location.
Delete Columns button Delete Columns: Delete the selected intermediate columns in a price group.
Price Deck Settings button Price Deck Settings: For each price stream you can specify whether it will be visible when linking prices to a folder in a hierarchy. For generic prices, a custom name can be specified, if required.
Price Deck Range Settings button Price Deck Range Settings: Set the Start Year, Duration, and Years Shown Monthly.
