Economics

If your reconciliation has been set up to work with economic variables, you can use the Economics tab to view values stored in those variables, as well as the categories and reconciliation reasons associated with them. If no variables exist or no data were loaded, this tab will be empty.

To be able to view these values, you need to follow a setup process. Some steps must be performed in the Reserves Configuration workspace; note that you need to have appropriate security permissions.

  1. Economic variables must be set up for the selected reporting standard. This is done in the Reserves Configuration workspace.
  2. Economic variables must be mapped in a Reconciliation mapping template. This is done in the Reserves Configuration workspace.
  3. Document variables mapped to economic variables must contain values in the Manage Data workspace.
  4. Economic variables must be loaded from the Manage Data workspace together with reserves data (see Load data into a reconciliation).
