Global Settings

Global Settings are used to specify settings that may be used for all projects that are created in a hierarchy.

To open the settings dialog, click the Global Settings button in the Home tab on the ribbon.

To add a new item, click in the grey area Click here to add a new item. To delete an item, click its X button. Note that the default selection cannot be deleted.

Companies

Allows you to add partner names that are then made available for quick selection from the dropdown menu when you add working interest shares. (See Add working interest shares for partners and groups.)

The partner name 'Company' is defined by default when a Planning Space tenant is created.

Setting a company name as Default will make it appear in all projects as the main partner. The default selection cannot be deleted.

Project Scenarios

You can add scenarios which are then made available for quick selection from the dropdown menu when a scenario is added to a project. (See Add a scenario.)

The scenario 'Base' is defined by default when a Planning Space tenant is created.

The scenario that is set as Default will be added automatically to all new projects. The default selection cannot be deleted.

The check box Is Failure is used to set the scenario as a failure scenario. This is used when Economics data are imported to Planning Space Portfolio for risk analysis.
