Currency Tools

Currency Management

The table below explains the buttons in the Currency Management tab in the Currency Tools section on the ribbon.

Button	Function
	Saves the opened deck if changes have been made. If you click the arrow under this button, you will find the Save All option which saves all changed decks. When you save a deck, you will be prompted to enter a Change Record comment.
	Creates a new currency deck. See Create a new currency deck. Note for version 16.5 Update 7 and later: Folders can be inserted to organize currency decks using the Add button: click the arrow below the button and select Folder.
	Opens the selected currency deck.
	Renames the selected currency deck.
	Deletes the selected currency deck.
	Create a copy of a deck by pasting from the clipboard.
	Cuts the selected deck and stores it in the clipboard.
	Makes a copy of the selected deck and stores it in the clipboard.
	Unlock currency/price decks that have been locked by another user (see Unlock currency decks).
	Export one or more currency decks to a '.XEFC' file.
	Import currency decks from a '.XEFC' file.

Currency Deck Home

The table below explains the buttons in the Currency Deck Home tab in the Currency Tools section on the ribbon.

Button	Function
	Saves the currency deck.
	Opens the list of available revisions for the currency deck.
	Opens the History window where you can view the history of changes made to the currency deck, including who made the change and when (see View history of changes).
	Sets the periodicity of the currency deck (Annual, Semi-Annual, Quarterly, Monthly).
	Currency Deck Settings: Opens a dialog where you can select which currencies will be included into the deck and which currency will be the base currency.
	Copies the selected value to all cells below it.
	Inserts copied values into the currency deck.
	Makes a copy of selected values and stores it in the clipboard.
