Licensing

Licensing of software for the IPS Server machine(s) and the Planning Space (or CX Suite) applications is managed in IPS Manager, and requires IPS Server administrator access for setup.

Important: When licenses are provided by Quorum Software as XML files they are 'single use': if a license is installed and then removed for any reason, the original XML file cannot be used a second time, even when it is within its expiry date.

License files can be requested from Quorum Support, and the generated files are accessed from the 'Licenses' area of the Aucerna Client Portal at clients.aucerna.com. You will need a specific user account to use the Client Portal; to register, follow the 'Request Account' link provided at the portal site.

For version 16.5 Update 16 and later: The License Profile feature in IPS Manager can be used for the management of license affinity and the default assignment of licenses. See License profiles.
