Introduction to 2.17.3

With the latest release of Enersight, version 2.17.3, we are pleased to bring several meaningful updates across calculation, data integration, and more.

The most significant addition is the new V3 Solver Tuner dialog, which gives users direct control over how the V3 network solver prioritizes wells during curtailment. This gives users a new level on control around curtailment selections, thus enabling their models to better reflect real-world operations. The V3 Solver Tuner allows you to configure and reorder the criteria the solver uses to rank wells — including asset start date, previous rate of take, and production potential — and save named configurations for reuse across projects. Alongside this, 2.17.3 introduces Solver V3.2, adjusted to stabilize curtailment oscillation between equal-ranked wells.

On the data integration side, exports to Azure Blob Storage have been substantially improved for performance and reliability. Additionally, a new Data API endpoint provides programmatic access to Enersight's OData tables as raw JSON downloads — without requiring the OData query language — making it straightforward to build scheduled workflows that detect changes and pull only updated data.

This release also includes a number of miscellaneous enhancements and bug fixes, including corrections to grouped report data in split networks, gas composition ordering, and scheduler-related production spikes, among others.
