Infrastructure

Infrastructure jobs can be used to model facilities and other installations that do not play a role in the routing of fluids. Costs incurred by jobs of this type fall under the Infrastructure category (see Cost Categories).

Infrastructures are characterized by a lifetime which starts as soon as the job is completed, and therefore can have associated operational resource requirements (see Resources) and OpEx. These keep being incurred until the job is abandoned by means of an Abandonment job.
