Refinery

A Refinery refinery is a facility that converts incoming liquid fluids (oil and water) into different components, such as jet, diesel, gasoline etc. in proportions defined by a slate composition table. The produced fluids are independent from the composition of incoming fluids.

The following inputs specific to power plants are entered in a separate Fluid Conversion tab:

  • Volume Increase: Volume gain in the produced fluids as a function of the amount of incoming fluid, resulting from the refining process.
  • Slate composition: Proportion of produced fluids, which must be liquid components (see Fluid Components Catalog). To add new rows to the table, create new out connectors in the facility Image Sub-Tab.
